Police are currently combing Production Drive, Sea Lots in search of missing police officer Nayasha Joseph.
Joseph, who is attached to the Morvant Police Station, failed to arrive at work yesterday. Following numerous unanswered calls and messages to Nayasha's phone, her mother received an anonymous tip this morning who claimed that Joseph was killed and buried in Beetham Gardens.
Joseph's mother reported the incident to the Besson Street Police Station.
Responding officers say they have one man in custody who is currently assisting with the investigation.
Reports that a body has been found, are premature.
