And you have a very convincing point here about Mini-G, I used it way too much earlier and it helped me buying many things. I actually didn't saw profitable mentioned here too...
But here's a thing, you often need a non-auto gun, like in sky servers, and Plasma is 100 times better than L11 lol. So I'll suggest to stop thinking like which is profitable but think about buying a gun in the other category. less

I mean... I guess that depends on how much you value non-automatic weapons. The question originally asked was what weapon was the best return on investment, and the plasma definitely does not fit that criteria.

The revolver is REALLY useful and cheap, so it is very profitable. Trap mines are also pretty good but for some reason no one uses them anymore. Where did they all go?
