  The question is how on earth do I hold that thing so I don't get any cuts my self???

  the top. or well, the bottom. im thinking that you could throw it like one of those long gernades in WW2. the german gernade, the super long one? yeah by the top. you grab it by the top, then you throw it. OR it could be used as a land mine by stabbing it in the ground.
