as ironic as it sounds (since shields *are* upgrades), I want shield upgrades. for example, when you pull out a shield, you should buy a power/extra thing with it. like if you buy "Plasma Buff" it makes the shield green and it slowly heals you by 1 each 2 seconds. Blast buff would make the shield blue (like the bullet color blue), and when you hold it you become more fast and your ammo slowly restocks by 1 clip per 10 seconds. or it could make your energy go up by 50 and make your energy also go down slower. also keep in mind that if these are going to be added, I would also like the shield to be bought, instead of rent, because buying upgrades (for maybe 8-10k each). also want more shield designs (like buyable designs. maybe a riot shield, etc.). so this would just make the shields more useful (all of my suggestions are kind of OP XD)
