There is a bow, revolver, and the Ga3a which is a fairly old german rifle, so @hotpotbor there is already many weapons that aren't futuristic at all so this would not change that.
Ion yes but a lot of them do. Obviously bow's and revolvers exist and does the G3a3 (a german weapon). G36 is also a real German rifle. Carbine is a class of rifle. USP is a real pistol. L115A3 is a real life weapon. Flamethrowers exist. Miniguns also exist although not handheld. M67 is real, as are trap mines (bouncing betties). There is no STG-12 although there is a Saiga-12 semi-automatic shotgun but there are abviously other semi-automatic shotguns, 12gauge or even 10gauge. CPW stands for Compact Personal Weapon in real life and it exists. RPG exists as everyone knows.
There is no A12 in real life, and obviously it is futuristic but there is an AK-12.
The real futuristic weapons are the rail, plasma, Lsmg3, A12 (could still be based off of AK-12), pulse pistol, Vector X (although sort of similar to the Kriss Vector which also used to be in the game), Blastgun, Blast shotgun, Gravity Gun, and Blast Grenade.
I know that was more than you were talking about but there it is lol.
My point is ion that you said that a lot of the weapons he listed don't exist but that's really only plasma, and Carbine which is still a weapon class. All the others exist.
I personally think an AK47 would work in game although how you would make it's performance unique is beyond me.
Edit: Lol I forgot that plasma Grenade doesn't exist.

The ump40 is already modern enouph and plus most of the waepons in warmerise are modern any way so it would be ok to add an ak47 but make it tacti-cool and a little futuristicickszs
