    Profeta What is wrong about that? Alan Shepard graduated from the USN Academy and was a USN Test pilot, also being the First American Man in Space.

    chronospectrum Oh, my apologies! I thought you meant the mission to space was commanded by USAF/Navy. Yeah you're right, Shepard was in both the navy and the air force before working for NASA.
