If so, the game is for Desktop only, so you can only play it on Mac, Windows or Linux

I am on Mac. I have played the game before the whole update happened but now that I've come back to it I can't play it.

From what I can see your browser version is probably outdated.
Warmerise now uses WebGL instead of Unity Web Player which is a relatively new technology and still evolving, so make sure to keep browser up-to-date
