I recently posted about a technical problem I am experiencing with a new monitor.

The actual monitor screen has a black border around it that is preventing me from seeing the edges of my screen (ie. in this game I can't see the round timer, score, ammo count etc.) I would be very appreciative if someone replied with a solution. Thanks for reading.

What type of monitor cuts out the usable area on the screen?

You can try increasing the in-game UI scale.

Try changing the resolution of the screen.

I fixed the issue. I changed the monitor source input from HDMI/AV TO HDMI/PC using the monitor underside buttons. I hope this helps anyone experiencing a similar problem connecting a monitor.
