You can't do much about the lag problem right now. Just make sure to join servers of region that gives you the least ping, and don't download or upload anything while you're playing. You can see the internet consumption (idk what exactly is it called) from the Task manager and disable those things you find unnecessary.
The latest version of chrome will give you a slightly better ping, which will reduce lag. (I repeat, slightly)
