This is a list of players with their direct profile link and active profile picture on display of the 'sign in' page. It is suppose to be a descending list of players on basis of their 'popularity/fame'. The more famous you are, the more left your place goes on the list.
And if I be more precise, this list is according to increasing number of 'friends' you have. That means, more friends, more left your place goes. This is the major factor that effect players fame rank. Other than that, 'profile views' also make a difference but very slightly, almost negligible w.r.t to the friends count.

Give up the multi-accounting. Using different accounts to insult someone on forums is totally not appreciated. Plus, using vulgar words is against forum rules. If you have any problem with Farzblack, resolve it in pm, and not in public.

That information is false or algorithm is false.

There are a lot of us that are "famous" compared to others but never show up so rip.

In Warmerise, the term famous means how many friends a person have. Max is the most 'famous' in terms of being known to many people, but according to friends count, he comes on 6th place. This definitely isn't the best criterion to put someone on a fame list.

Welp that certainly doesn't prove if one is famous or not.
Famous should be taken into consideration on how many views a person has + post counts or times it by post counts.
